Sauvignon Blanc Reserve
To achieve the fruity character in this Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, grapes are hand picked from three vineyards, approximately 300 miles apart, giving the wine three unique flavour profiles. Extended lees contact after fermentation, increases the “creamy” character of this fruit driven wine.

Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc
This Chenin Blanc is mostly from older vineyards planted in 1974, on the Ken Forrester family property in Stellenbosch. Hand harvested grapes are sorted into two selections – one batch, naturally fermented in French Oak Barrels and a second batch, fermented in Stainless Steel, before barrel ageing on lees. Shows depth of character and concentration of the fruit.

Kaapse Vonkel Brut
Frans Malan, the founder of Simonsig, was the first producer of Méthode Cap Classique in South Africa, with the pioneering Kaapse Vonkel in 1971. Today Johan Malan, continues the legacy with the production of some of the most acclaimed and consistent MCC’s in the country. The Kaapse Vonkel is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a miunte splash of Pinot Meunier.

Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé
In 2004 Simonsig winemaker, Johan Malan, first created an innovative taste sensation by blending mainly Pinot Noir, with Pinotage and Pinot Meunier, to launch the Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé, made in the traditional MCC style. The final composition of the Rosé is determined by meticulous tastings before the different cuvées are blended. The bottles are matured for at least 15 months on the lees, adding layers of yeasty complexity to the delicious red berry flavours.

Special Edition Pinotage
Proud example of South Africa’s Signature variety. This Pinotage displays a beautiful rich purple colour with a bright crimson red colour hue. The nose is packed with fruit-forward aromas of raspberry and cherry. Soft nuances of nutmeg and black pepper intertwine with juicy red fruit flavours, underlined by subtle hints of vanilla and oak spices, soft tannins and an elegant finish.

Culinaria Grand Vin
The Culinaria Collection, by Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards, is a celebration of the harmony in which food and wine complement and mutually enhance one another. Blanc de Blancs
The L’Ormarins Blanc de Blancs is entirely produced from Chardonnay grapes from select vineyards and vineyard blocks. Approximately 20% of the Blanc de Blancs is barrel fermented. The cuvee is matured for four years on the lees. After disgorgement, the wine is kept on the cork for at least 8 months before being released.

Optima
The Anthonij Rupert Wyne philosophy melds the Old World focus on use of best viticultural sites and modern New World winemaking practices. A Bordeaux Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Each component was aged separately and then matured in 225L French oak barrels for 20 months. The grapes selected for the Optima come from the Rupert family’s L’Ormarins Estate in Franschhoek and Rooderust farm in Darling.

Merlot
The first vintage of the flagship range was released in 2009. The vineyards for the Merlot were selected from vines planted on very specific sites and soil types. This characteristic Merlot blends Old World structure and New World techniques. Shows admirable restraint and was aged for 18 to 24 months in mainly new French oak, bottled unfiltered and bottle aged for a further 2 years.
